Today Pete and I gave a talk to Joey's class about the heart. Actually, Pete did all the talking as I do not like to talk in front of people, including 5 and 6 year olds. He was awesome, as always! He was fun, loud and animated. He taught them lots of fun facts about the heart, then we had them color a heart, highlighting the "red" and "blue" blood. It was a great coloring page we found on line. We then passed out disposable stethoscopes to all the kids to listen to their own and each others' hearts. It was a lot of fun and the kids were cute!

Hey, you didn't tell me you were doing this! I bet Joey just loved having you in his classroom.
Bill's coming to my mothers' group meeting next week for Stump the Chump, I mean, Ask the Pediatrician. I keep joking with Bill that I told the moms to come up with their hardest questions. :-)
How fun is that? I bet you two are the favorite parents in the class now.
Is Pete a pediatrician as well?
Kelly was invited to do this one year, but I had to go instead. He was in the process of building an adult entertainment store! Just the construction of the building, but I told him that he could not go! - Mindy
