I'M IN!!!!!
I am so excited I could scream!! Today I was notified that I was chosen for the Womens San Francisco Marathon this October!! I have had my heart set on doing this marathon for a few months now. I was very disappointed to then find out that they were going to be doing a random lottery this year because last year it sold out in 3 days. I was so nervous waiting for the results, I thought I was going to throw up!! Woo Hoo!! I am in!! The only downer was finding out that my friend Kathy in Illinois did not get in. She is one of my internet friends and I was excited that we were going to get a chance to meet. Peter says we can go to Chicago next year for their marathon. Let's see how I do on this one!

Wow, a marathon in San Francisco. Twenty six long miles. I'm impressed.
Hey do you ever suffer from black toenails that eventually jump ship? I used to run in my 20s and 30s and I would say over that time I have lost at least 8 of the 10 nails. They always come back but apparently I have difficulty purchasing shoes that actually fit and do not aggravate my toenails.
