Zachary and Joey were very excited about getting back. Here they are before school.
Joey was getting pretty nervous waiting to go in. You can tell!
Zach had no interest in me hanging around and would not turn for a picture. Doesn't he look great from the back? Look at the size of the kid next to him! They are in the same class!
Joey was so happy to see he is sitting next to his good friend Shane. All is well!

They look like they were excited in the first picture. I did not know that our boys were the same ages.
Wow! Look at those big backpacks! I'm glad they both have good friends in class. Hope no one wilts during the first week back.
I know I am not supposed to use the words "sweet and innocent" to describe boys. But look how sweet and innocent they are!
And I just want to hug Joey and tell him, "You're going to have fun! It will be great once things get started, buddy!"
But it sounds like Shane was there to say that. Good luck on the new school year.
Ours starts next Tuesday.
