Milestones

The boys started school last week. Somehow, I am now the parent of a middle schooler! Zach appears to have made a seamless transition. Not one word of complaint about the increased homework load. He likes all of his teachers, and has already exchanged cell phone numbers with a girl. (yikes!)

Yes, he needs a hair cut.

Joey is in third grade. He has several of his friends in class (and even if he didn't, Joey doesn't waste any time making new ones!) As usual, he is already complaining about his homework!

Vinnie is in first grade, and seems to be handling the longer day just fine. He and the love of his life, Alle are not in the same class this year (no way was the principal going to let that happen!). Despite that, Vinnie is having a good time.

We have survived seven years of "first day of school" here in the Contini house!

2004- Zachary starting kindergarten

2005- Zach in first grade

2006- Zach in second grade

2007- Zachary in third grade, Joey in kindergarten

2008--Zachary in fourth grade, Joey in first grade

2009--Zachary in fifth grade, Joey in second grade, Vinnie in kindergarten

2010--Zachary in sixth grade, Joey in third grade, Vinnie in first grade

Seven years down, 14 more years to go!!

What a fun trip down memory lane! (Flashback posts take extra time but are so much fun, don't you think?) Will Christopher get to star in his own school post?

This is so crazy since I actually remember the first day of school photo from last year! Wow, we've been blog buddies for at least a year.

Cool! Glad do hear you made it through summer. School starts in two weeks over here (breaks down and sobs.)
