For my birthday back in March, Pete told me I could pick out a new camera. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted, but I finally did!
Here is my new Nikon D60! I have been having so much fun playing around with it. It is nice to finally have a "real" camera. I was realizing how limited I was with my simple point and shoot camera. Those pictures just weren't able to get any better.
Now I can get awesome close up pictures. Of flowers,
...and of my gorgeous family! My husband Pete,
...my 10 year old Zachary (good grief! Look at that hair!),
...my 7 year old Joey,
...my 5 year old Vincent,
...and my 2 year old Christopher.
The camera gets great action shots, which is perfect for the kids sports games.
A couple more fun shots--
--Christopher looking up to his big brother Vincent
--Zachary goofing off with his good friend Kyle.
At this point I have just been playing around with the automatic settings. I can't wait to learn how to actually use all the bells and whistles!
Thanks Pete for the amazing present!!

Yee Haw!!!!!!!!!!!
You definitely need a good camera to keep up with your active family. These are wonderful.
Love the pictures especially Christopher up to bat. Keep them coming. Love Mom
We've had a cannon 450D for a little over a year now, and it's amazing! And addicting. We also (had to) buy a few lenses since then. I call Nick by budding photographer. He laughs.
Have fun with the camera! They're sooo much fun!
Hey Pete...my birthday is in April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT camera
GREAT picture
REALLY GREAT kids!
wow!
Your family is cute!
Those are great pictures, but I'm not going to give the camera all the credit. You have a good eye and can frame a shot well.
I have to say I love that close up of Christopher -- a fleeting look captured very well. And I like Pete's glasses, very cool.
So cool! You're very lucky.
Btw, the little braid in your hair in the first picture is too cute. Love it!
Beautiful photos! Really, really great shots. I especially love the baseball shots.
Thanks for checking out my blog, by the way. I hope you'll be back, and please say hello if you do drop in from time to time. :) From the looks of it, you can probably relate to a lot of what you'll find in my pages! :) Yay for boys.
