Vinnie's homework has always been a source of entertainment for me.
Last year he shared with us his feelings about homework:
Earlier this year he warned his teachers about the fact that he was lazy:
|
"And the number 1 thing about me is... I'm lazy!" |
Today I was going through his last weeks returned work and found this little gem:

The above is the picture accompanying his report on "The Big Bushy Mustache"- a story about a boy who loses his fake mustache. | | | | | | |

"Oh my beeep!"? What did he mean by that? Surely he wasn't beeping out a cuss word, was he?? So I called him over and asked him. The smirky grin on his face alone answered the question for me. "Well," he said, "that's what you say when you don't want to cuss, right? I didn't want to use a cuss word there."
Can't wait to hear what his teachers have to say about that.

He cracks me up! So glad that you are documenting this so he can see it when he grows up:) What a funny guy!
Before I had kids and was teaching I once had a 2nd grade student tell me that I was "stifling his creativity" when I made him do a certain journal assignment instead of letting him do a free choice journal. Cracked me up!
He has a good grasp of social etiquette already. I'm proud of him.
Vinnie sounds like quite the character! I imagine it must be stressful having 4 kids, but fun too. Vinnie sounds like a fun kid. I bet your teacher conference goes just fine...
Oh, and when do we get to read about your training? ;)
Vinnie would get along so well with my son! They agree on a lot of things concerning school:)
Oh, so cute - he sounds like a real live wire! And he sounds a lot like my son - smart as a whip, but HATES homework! Hee hee.
