Last night he was working on a "Word Jungle" (he had to make new words out of his spelling words) when he stopped and asked "Mom, how do you spell tore, as in "You tore apart my heart""? I laughed a little. What 9 year old uses that as an example?
A few minutes later I heard him ask Pete, "Dad, is ho a bad word? And I don't mean the gardening kind."
I am not sure how Pete answered him. I was laughing too hard to hear. This morning I double checked his homework to make sure he didn't actually use the word ho. Thankfully he did not!
Vinny is a spaz, pure and simple. While he frustrates me the most out of all my boys, he also makes me laugh the most. The following is a picture from Halloween 2007 that I came across today. Compare his pose to our Christmas card this year. Clearly he has always been a spaz!
Whatever you do Vinny, keep on being you!

I always get a chuckle out of what you share about Vinny and I know there are many more that go unrecorded. I can't wait to see how his personality develops as he matures.
